Participation in the planning and creating of visuals for worship can be one of the most exciting and fulfilling experiences in the on going ministry of the church.

Involving individuals of our faith communities in the process of worship preparation is challenging. Lay folks often don’t feel adequately trained or skilled to prepare or lead and those in programming for the church are often too stretched by demands on time and energy to be creative and move beyond what’s always been done before.

With hands on workshops, Grace Cox-Johnson will guide people of various skills and talents to share expressions of faith through fiber art. Whether it’s making a set of paraments, banners, choir stoles, or silk scarves, working together in fiber crafts is exciting, fulfilling, challenging and fun. In just a few hours participants are able to create lasting and beautiful multi-use fabrics. The materials are inexpensive, easy to use, and with the crafts learned, are easily reproduced by interested persons.

Grace is also available for presentations and further development in worship arts for your congregation or group. She is available for consultations and guidance in a wide variety of ways to help meet the worship environment needs in your faith community.
